fc marina academy - the idea behind
FC Marina Academy began in 2019 with a simple vision:
to make quality football coaching accessible, structured, and enjoyable for every child.
What started as a small program with a handful of players has grown into one of Chennai’s most trusted and fastest-expanding football academies—built on consistency, discipline, and a player-first philosophy.
The journey so far

2019: Launched our first training group with a strong focus on fundamentals and child development.

2020–2021: Despite the challenges during the pandemic, the academy stayed committed to players through online sessions and rebuilding once training resumed.

2022–2023: Rapid expansion across Chennai with new branches, more certified coaches, and structured pathways.

2024–2025: Became a multi-location academy with 18+ branches, serving thousands of young footballers every week.
Today, FC Marina stands as a growing football community that believes in long-term development, not shortcuts.
2019
Launched first 5-a-side ground in Madipakkam
2020
Added two 7-a-side centres & structured the Academy.
2021
Rebuild & Reconnected with players after COVID.
Added a 7-a-side Centre.
2022
Expanded to new branches & launched Development program.
2023
2024
Opened Chennai's only 11-a-side Turf at Vanagaram. Under 18 Academy team wins TNYL 2024-25.
2025
Introduced Academy team for TNYL & AIFF Leagues. No. of centres reach double figures.
Reached 18+ branches, becoming one of India's largest football academies.
