FC Marina Academy – Weekend of Tournaments, League Matches & Beach Training

FC Marina Academy enjoyed a comprehensive and action-filled weekend with active participation from both our Football Schools and Academy teams across multiple tournaments, league fixtures, and development sessions.

Our Football Schools represented the academy at Thalambur (U11 – Glory to God Tournament), Kovilambakkam (U8 – Glory to God Tournament), Perumbakkam (U8 – Madras Coastal League), Vanagaram (U10 – Academy 5A’s Tournament at BK Sports and U12 & U15 – Glory to God Tournament), and Medavakkam (U7 – FC Madras League Match on Saturday and U10 – FC Madras League Match on Sunday), providing valuable grassroots match exposure for our young players.

Alongside this, our Academy teams competed in DPDL and FC Madras Tournament fixtures for the U10 category, YFDL Iyyapanthangal for U12, DPDL at FC Marina Vanagaram for U14, an 11-a-side tournament at Karur for U14 and U16 (January 25–26), the AIFF Elite League match for U18 against FC Madras at FC Marina Vanagaram, and the CFA 3rd Division League match for our Senior Team.

Adding a unique developmental element to the weekend, FC Marina Academy also conducted a Beach Session for our Football Schools on Sunday at Mugalivakkam, Nolambur, and Porur (Keppel), focusing on strength, balance, endurance, and enjoyment in an open coastal environment.

This well-planned weekend once again reflected FC Marina Academy’s commitment to structured competition, innovative training, and holistic player development at every level.
